2026 North Notts Spring Ploughing Match

There were plenty of exciting modern tractors on display, and in action, at the 2026 North Notts Ploughing Match that took place on March 8^th near Scaftworth, on land belonging to G.T Wagstaff and Son. RMV Services from Loversall, near Doncaster were displaying Deutz-Fahr tractors whilst Farmstar Ltd from Marr near Doncaster, were representing the Merlo and Case IH brands. AGCO dealer Peacock & Binnington had collaborated with Massey Ferguson to produce a fully wrapped 6S tractor in support of the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association. The tractor made its public debut back in February at the Yorkshire Agricultural Machinery Show. The goal has been to raise public awareness and support for families affected by Motor Neurone Disease, echoing the charity's message that "every day matters". Elsewhere at the match, John Wheeler won the modern multi-furrow commercial reversible class with his employer’s immaculate Fendt 724 Vario and five furrow Lemken plough.
