Driffield Show 2010
The 149th Driffield Show takes place today (July 16th) and is expected to attract thousands of visitors. The show was first held in 1854 and is run by the Driffield Agricultural Society. It has become one of the most popular and highly respected single day events on the summer calendar. The show features a whole host of livestock competitions, dog handling classes and craft displays.
The show also attracts agricultural machinery dealers and manufacturers from throughout Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire. The photos below highlight some of the latest kit that was being displayed at the 2010 show by dealers such as Hardwick Agricultural Engineers Ltd, Robert D. Webster Ltd and Wilfred Scruton Ltd.
