LAMMA 2016

LAMMA 2016

The Farm Machinery Journal team are gearing up for this year’s LAMMA Show that takes place on January 14th and 15th at the N.E.C near Birmingham.  You can read our preview to this year’s show in the latest issue that went on sale in the shops on January 9th.

Here’s a little look back at some the most interesting exhibits on display at LAMMA a decade ago, when it was still held outdoors at the East of England Showground near Peterborough.  They included the Italian built Scaip Warrior STX-200 steel track crawler that was being showcased by Robert H Crawford & Son.

The 20th Anniversary of the Case IH Quadtrac was also celebrated, whilst AGCO’s stand included Fendt’s massive 542hp 1050 Vario, the most powerful mass-produced rigid tractor that was making its public UK debut.

Claas was displaying its latest Xerion 4000 Saddle Trac equipped with a Tebbe spreader and John Deere were celebrating their 50th Anniversary since they began marketing tractors in the UK and Ireland from their base Langar.  Their display included the recently introduced 9620RX articulated rubber tracked crawler.  Zetor meanwhile were exhibiting their new Crystal 160 tractor.
