Latest Vervaet Q Series Beet Harvester on Trial

A pre-production version of Dutch manufacturer Vervaet’s latest six row Q Series beet harvester has been undergoing extensive testing in Norfolk over the past three weeks with UK importer J Riley Beet Harvesters (UK) Ltd. I was very kindly shown around this machine in detail and at work by experienced Riley’s engineer Keith Sillis on February 3rd.

The latest Q Series harvester comes equipped with a new larger and quieter Claas X11 cabin that’s fully CAN-bus controlled as standard ensuring better and more accurate data transmission. The Q Series 12.9lit DAF-Paccar engine also has a re-routed exhaust and revised hydraulic system to reduce component temperatures and improve fuel consumption.
