Merlo Multi Farmer MF44.9CS 170 CVTRONIC and Ovlac Classic Plough
Merlo’s latest multifunctional telehandler, the Multi Farmer MF44.9-CS 170 CVTRONIC, generated lots of interest during a recent outing at Sheepy & District Ploughing Association’s annual ploughing match that was held near Atherstone on September 28th.
It was being demonstrated by dealer Cooks Midlands Ltd with a five-furrow reversible Ovlac Classic plough. The Multi MF44.9CS 170 CVTRONIC weighs in at just over 9.5 tonnes and is powered by a four-cylinder turbocharged 170hp FPT NEF45 engine. It’s also equipped with a category three rear linkage, whilst it’s three stage telescopic boom has a maximum lift height of 8.9m.
