New Holland CR10 on Demonstration

New Holland chose Cereals 2024 to launch a new sister combine harvester to its flagship 775hp CR11. Built at New Holland’s combine Centre of Excellence at Zedelgem in Belgium, the CR10 shares many of the CR11’s components and operating systems, including the longer and larger diameter 600mm longitudinal rotors that feature 40 standard rasp bars, 12 spiked rasp bars and eight HX rasp bars.

The two most significant differences between the two combines are their engine and grain tank sizes. The 775hp CR11’s smaller sibling is fitted with a 12.9l turbocharged FPT Cursor engine that produces 635hp whilst it’s 16,000l capacity grain tank holds 4000l less than the CR11. However, that’s still an increase of 1500l over the combine the CR10 has been designed to succeed; New Holland’s former flagship and world record breaking CR10.90.

A whole host of CR10s went to work on farms throughout the UK this Summer, including this example, demonstrated by New Holland dealer Russells in Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire.
