Prairie Monster – 2002 John Deere 9420T
Earlier this Autumn I visited North Yorkshire based farmers and second-hand agricultural machinery dealers, Richard and Rob Firby to see their rare 2002 John Deere 9420T rubber tracked crawler at work pulling a 4.5m Sumo Trio.
The mighty 460hp 9420T is a proper prairie monster, and comes equipped with a large swinging drawbar instead of a three-point linkage and power-take off. This is one tractor that’s unlikely to leave their yard anytime soon!
