Trelleborg Tractor Driver of the Year 2025

Trelleborg brought its action-packed Tractor Driver of the Year competition to the UK for the first time on October 16^th, where it was hosted by Everyman Driving Experiences near Loughborough. Farm Machinery Journal witnessed plenty of thrills, spills and competitive banter throughout the day.

The first five editions of Trelleborg’s Tractor Driver of the Year contest were held in Italy where they generated a huge amount of interest and excitement among seasoned tractor drivers and farm machinery enthusiasts alike.

For the first UK event, Trelleborg partnered with Valtra UK and their nearest dealer Chandlers, who supplied an N175, T255, Q265 and a flagship S416 for the driving challenges that were shod on high performance Trelleborg TM Series tyres. There were several other Valtra tractors on display, whilst competitors also had the opportunity to inspect Yokohama TWS’s comprehensive range of Trelleborg and Mitas branded agricultural tyres at the event too.

The competition comprised four time-based challenges designed and laid out by Trelleborg to replicate elements of real-world agricultural operations. You can read my extensive report on the event in the December issue of Farm Machinery Journal that’s out in the shops now!
